I have suffered for nearly 10 years with back pain after an accident at work and last year i went to see dr.Ameiba for the first time after being passed from department to department and i have to say how amazing he was and totally listened to me and my problems and he decided i would need an operation on the discs in my back. I had the operation last July and i have to say how pleased i am with the results 8 months later and im now looking to return to work and my life has totally been changed for the better and its all thanks to the care of Dr.Ameiba and his team who are amazing in my eyes....thank you

The doctor listened to me and explained what he would do and why. this has helped my condition very much. The time it has taken to get to this stage is not due to Dr Aneiba more to NHS and funding not received to deal with the amount of patients suffering all health issues. The care I received was of a high standard from all NHS staff.

Male, 72 years old, reasonably fit but not athletic. The problems with my back started about 18 months ago, the pain progressed such that I could not walk 50yds. I saw Mr. Aneiba after having an MRI scan and with his guidance we decided only surgery would keep me from a wheelchair. My operation was carried out about a year ago and involved a 3 day stay in N.T. hospital (including about a 6 hr. operation). My care was faultless. I returned home to the care of my wife with all necessary medication. I suffered some pain and numbness in my legs and feet which eased over about 6 months. Over the last 6 months this has reduced to some numbness in my big toes and a slight effect on my balance. I am now able to walk, (up to 10 ml. or so) cycle, (up to 25 ml. or so) and dance; all which were becoming impossible prior to my operation. I am looking forward to further improvements. I cannot praise highly enough the skill and care I received from Mr Aneiba, the surgical team, nurses and staff at N.T. hospital.

I had a L4/5 Lower Body Dynamic Interbody Fusion carried out by Mr Aneiba recently. The surgery went fine and the care on the ward was exemplary. Mr Aneiba's explanation of the surgery and how it would help me to have a better quality of life put me at ease to go ahead. Since the surgery none of my original symptoms remain. Mr Aneiba has an excellent manner with his patients and even called in to see how I was after surgery on the ward the following day, despite him being "off duty". I would recommend Mr Aneiba as a surgeon to anyone considering this type of surgery. Taking notes at any prior consultation with Mr Aneiba would be of additional benefit to future patients as this would avoid having to send queries by letter thereafter.
